my Why:
Sitting at the desk of my high school counselor, I looked up, and I said "I haven't seen one for a while" when he asked what I saw for my future.
He then told me to make a vision board of everything that I would like to see in the time to come and the life I wanted to create. and if i didn't have a photo for it, to go out and make that memory to have the proof of filling my days with the things that make me whole. The things that make me smile when my head hits the pillow at the end of the day knowing that those memories are now a part of history that will forever hold a space in the world.
so here's to choosing to be here still, for practicing reckless optimism, and loving the grit through every single second of it.
